Plekanec's defensive irresponsibility on the tying goal last night. He loses the draw, cleanly. Then, instead of covering Bergeron as he should have (a centerman who loses the draw stays with the opposing center), he wanders out to the point and tries to block the shot - that's Lapierre's job (the RW). We know the result: Bergeron dances in uncovered and jumps on a rebound.
I guess when you're having as good of an offensive season as he is shortcuts can be forgiven on the defensive side; this one just happened at a really bad time.

Looked as though the Habs were killed on a lot of key face-offs last night. I think Pleks has played afirly well defensively but there is some blame to go round on the Boston goal.

plekanec is awesome, he kills penalties, creates scoring chances and is wanted from many teams around the league for what im hearing right now. Although his not a natural goal scorer he is still underrated in this league, and a very intelligent player.
where is Yanic P anyways??
