Thanks, Scotty. I had heard that the Bulldogs had won that little tournament. How did the locals do against the AHL clubs?

And did you catch any of the action?

:?:

Locals really struggled- Edinburgh beaten 7-0 by Bulldogs, Belfast 5-1 by Marlies.
Sadly I couldn't get over to Edinburgh for what was a very poorly marketed event- barely made a media ripple!

I heard on the radio that it was a no brainer for Hamilton & Toronto to come over
for this tournament as The Scottish Government (Tourism) covered all the expenses for both
AHL teams - Jeff Jackson GM of The Marlies said it was a great way to save some money
during training camp........

The Scottish Government are keen to pay anyone to come here!!!!
We are in the midst of the 'Year of Homecoming'- although nobody, apart from (maybe) the government , has a clue what it is!
