Tell you what. AB would like to make an offer to all the Koivu supporters especially Muller, Plouf, Otis, Nil and John (if he ever returns). Since some of you are still quite sensitive about him leaving. I promise not to mention Souray(I'm tired of defending him anyway) even as it relates to around the horn stuff, if you never ever mention Koivu again. As FH mentioned...they are both history and don't mean a thing to the Habs anymore.

Also for Plouf...I don't want to know what AC means as it is probably some sort of juvenile vendictive name. I promise to keep calling you Plouf, if you revert back to my handle.

How does that sound gang? No more bickering about Souray or Koivu. They mean nothing anymore. Time to grow up and move on to the new Habs. Maybe as an extra help...Mario and Mods can stop all Souray/ Koivu Threads.

If the gang refute my offer than I will continue to utilize my democratic right to discuss any player on "around the horn".

Wishful thinking AB.

People are still talking about whether or not Patrick Roy is a hero or a traitor. No way will the Koivu question go away easily. Anyway, it's not just the supporters who keep bringing Koivu up out of nowhere. And in any case I will always follow the career of Saku Koivu and am very curious still what the true story is on the last couple of years and why the team fell apart after such a great season.

I admit I overreacted about the Souray mention. It was basically just a response to your genius posts in the thread Fatherhab started about Koivu's "A." If you want to know the meaning of AC, it's in there. Let's move on.

Okay Plouf...I respect your wishes(also assume you're still your gangs' voice) but I don't appreciate that name. That will have to stop for sure. No more name calling on Gohabs.

I'm not sure what "gang" you're referring to, but I think we can all speak for ourselves (although I usually give plouf a head start on replies to your anti-Saku rants snce he's more eloquent than I am, and seems to have more time on his hands  ).

My deal would be this: You talk about Souray (or Ribs) all you want - I can choose to not read the posts - and I'll write about Koivu all I want (and you can also choose not to read).

Sorry Nilsy...the offer was for the gang as a whole and is now null in void.

The answer isn't complicated...Saku didn't get the job done on and off the ice. He had nothing left to offer and went through one Coach too many. Don't make more out of it than it is. The old cliques are all gonzo now. The page is turned to a new chapter.

And the default is therefore my offer!
